Janet Atherton

Janet Atherton lives in the Wirral and has been a trustee since 2017.
She has been a Director of Public Health in both the NHS and local government and has now retired as senior adviser to Public Health England. She continues to work as an associate with the Leadership Centre and is a director of her own consultancy.
She returned to cycling at 50 and riding with a local Cycling UK group helped build her confidence. She leads rides with Wirral Bicycle Belles and loves organising their trips away.
