CTC has hundreds of Member Groups across the UK offering thousands of rides and events for all abilities. Every CTC member can ride with any Member Group and non-members are always welcome to try-out riding with a CTC group.

How to form a new CTC Member Group

Do you ride with a group of friends or colleagues and worry about insurance? Or maybe there isn't a CTC group near you and you would like to form one? If you have ever wondered about how to go about forming a new CTC Member Group, this guide will show you whys and wherefores of how to go about it.

CTC Member Group AGMs

CTC Member Groups are entirely run by volunteers. They provide opportunities for most CTC members to take part in leisure cycling activities every week of the year. If you have been inspired by the Olympics and Paralympics to get involved in volunteering, why not come along to a Member Group AGM?

Support for Cycle Event Organisers

What do you do if something goes wrong? How do you record a risk assessment? What is the situation if a young person turns up to do a ride? All these questions can be answered by consulting CTC's resources for ride and event organisers.

Member Group Steering Group

Member Groups are run by groups of local volunteers and provide activities and events for cyclists of all kinds throughout the UK. The Member Group Steering Group was formed in 2010 to provide a platform to discuss issues surrounding the running of these vital bodies.

Policy Handbook for CTC Member Groups and Organising Committees

The Policy Handbook is a document that sets out the framework for the operation of CTC Member Groups and Organising Committees. It enables them to function effectively by setting out the formal requirements for their formation and administration within the spirit of CTC's charitable Objects.
