CTC has hundreds of Member Groups across the UK offering thousands of rides and events for all abilities. Every CTC member can ride with any Member Group and non-members are always welcome to try-out riding with a CTC group.

Cycling with others is one of life’s greatest pleasures. CTC has many Member Groups up and down the country offering a wide range of cycling events for all tastes and abilities. Some even organise weekend trips and holidays away both in the UK and abroad.

CTC Member Groups are entirely run by volunteers. They provide opportunities for most CTC members to take part in leisure cycling activities every week of the year. If you have been inspired by the Olympics and Paralympics to get involved in volunteering, why not come along to a Member Group AGM?

Member Groups are run by groups of local volunteers and provide activities and events for cyclists of all kinds throughout the UK. The Member Group Steering Group was formed in 2010 to provide a platform to discuss issues surrounding the running of these vital bodies.

The Policy Handbook is a document that sets out the framework for the operation of CTC Member Groups and Organising Committees. It enables them to function effectively by setting out the formal requirements for their formation and administration within the spirit of CTC's charitable Objects.
