Trail design and builder needed for Sheffield project
CTC partners, Sheffield City Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced mountain bike trail builder to design and build a graded cross country mountain bike loop as part of the exciting ‘Making Tracks @ Parkwood’ project.

World Cycle Race
Long term CTC supporter Niel 'The Wheel' has left the comfort of his home in Appleby, New Zealand for the cycle journey of his life. He has joined the participants of the World Cycle Race that left London on 18th February. They are currently heading their separate ways through Europe.

Signs of the times - relaxed rules for 'no entry except cycles'
After years of lobbying for simple changes to traffic sign regulations, CTC is pleased that the Government has finally agreed to a relaxation of certain rules, such as permitting an ‘except cycles’ plate to be used in conjunction with a ‘no entry’ sign.

Ride To The Pies CTC Challenge Ride & Sportive

‘Follow the Dog & The Monkey Trail’, Cannock Chase

Cities fit for cycling
The Times has launched a campaign to improve cycle safety following the serious injury to a reporter on the paper. An 8 point manifesto has been published, with the focus on lorries, junctions, cycle infrastructure and 20 mph as the default urban speed limit.
