How to form a CTC Affiliated Group
If you think the paperwork involved in forming a new CTC Member Group would be too much to cope with, but you would still like to be part of the CTC family, another option is to become a CTC Affiliated club.
Club Affiliation to CTC
Your group may want the benefits of CTC’s expertise but not want to become a formal CTC Member Group. In that case, you should think about becoming affiliated to CTC. The benefits of affiliation include:
For your ride leaders and event organisers, subject to such events being organised in accordance with CTC Guidelines.
- Free copy of ‘Cycle’
CTC’s bi-monthly magazine full of news, articles and expert advice from the world of leisure and utility cycling.
- Third Party insurance for your members
For only £16 per year, riders can become Affiliated members of CTC – this will give them £10 million of Third Party insurance so they are covered should they be the cause of any damage or injury whilst cycling.
Who can affiliate to CTC?
CTC Affiliation is available not only to clubs and groups but also to business, organisations, charities and individuals who organise cycling activities. Rates are competitive and are just £60 per year. It’s easy to do, with a just a couple of forms to fill in and send back to our Membership Department. If you have any questions, contact them on 0844 736 8451 or email membership@ctc.org.uk. .
