CTC - the UK's national cyclists' organisation

CTC Campaigns And Policy Homepage

CTC has a dedicated team of campaigners supported by the Right to Ride network, which is the largest team of dedicated voluntary cycle campaigners in the UK. Our campaigners lobby locally and nationally for better rights and conditions for cyclists.

Campaign News

CTC has regularly highlighted evidence that cycling gets safer the more cyclists there are, as drivers get better at understanding and sharing space with them, perhaps having started cycling themselves. Now it appears that high fuel costs will also make it safer. See here.

What We Do...

What We Do...

CTC campaigns at a national and local level to improve conditions for all cyclists. We work with other transport and environmental charities on wider transport objectives and provide support to the Cyclists' Defence Fund.

What You Can Do...

Support our national campaigns or act locally through our Right to Ride network, which represents us at ground level. For topical updates, subscribe to the CycleDigest or join us at our campaign conferences (and meet up with fellow activists!). We also offer campaigning advice.
