My Cycling
Where I Ride:
Anywhere I can, but mostly in the Dorset area now. On road mainly but do appreciate the network of proper cycle paths that we have in this area.
What I Ride:
Knight racing frame (1212) from 1978, re-sprayed twice now and dressed as deMayo. Very sharp frame for its day and still stands comparison. Fitted with Royce titanium bracket and hubs. Hercules hack bike (1Y3454) from my school days. Single speed free/fixed wheel.
Cycling Interest(s):
Local group activities, rides and events. Audax UK activities, and oh yes, the TDF.
Me
About Me:
I am editor for CycleInk the Magazine for CTC Wessex Cycling member group based in the Bournemouth and Poole area. Also publish the website for that group. A lifelong cyclist and "Ancien du PBP". I am a long term member of Audax UK. These days though riding about 1500m per year.
Likes and Dislikes:
Likes; touring, commuting, hacking town traffic, and exploring. Dislikes; caravans, bumpy roads, and helmets.
