Dalby Bike Barn
CTC has teamed up with PACE and the Forestry Commission at Dalby Forest in Pickering, North Yorkshire, to provide the complete cycling experience. We are offering a range of mountain bike skills development sessions and led rides as well as our traditional range of education courses and qualifications. Our partners PACE are providing top of the range bike hire and sales as well as servicing and repairs.
Dalby is a fantastic location with great facilities and a really friendly team. It has the full array of bike trails from green to black, and many routes off the beaten track to explore.
From Dixon’s Hollow mtb skills area and pump track to the rolling fields of Adderstone loops, varied woodland and pine forests give you an all-round mountain biking experience. You can even test yourself on the world cross country mtb course taking in Worry Gill and Medusa’s Drop.
There is provision for all at Dalby, with specially adapted equipment and electric bikes so it has never been easier to get involved with cycling.
There is plenty to do for young people with a range of games and skills sessions, as well as qualifications if you are looking to really move forward with your mountain biking.
Our skill development courses are a great way to up-skill, whether you are a beginner looking to gain some more confidence or an experienced rider looking to hone key skills to take you on to the next level.
Dalby is ideal for our traditional education courses. Our trail and technical leader courses are perfectly suited to Dalby with the surrounding area offering a great mixture of challenging terrain to get you ready to lead groups on your own.
