Allez, Allez! CTC celebrates Tour de France with Yellow Jersey rides

Riders in Yellow Jerseys
Will you take on a Yellow Jersey ride?
Tour de France, the world’s biggest bike race is coming to our shores this July. CTC’s local groups are celebrating the arrival of the Tour by sharing their top cycle routes. So if you’re inspired by the riders of the peloton, CTC has chosen the best rides for a summer in the saddle...

Sally Raines from CTC York says:

“We’re hoping that the Tour de France and Yorkshire’s beautiful dales will inspire people to get on their bikes and explore our country lanes. You never know, a summer fling with the bike might lead to a lifelong love affair with cycling."

If you fancy a taste of the best rides and prefer company, you are warmly welcome to come along to one of the regular CTC group rides that take place every week across the country. Rides are led by experienced cyclists, who know the country lanes and will make sure no rider is left behind. Anyone with a roadworthy bike and an average level of fitness is welcome to come along for a fabulous day out on two wheels. To find your local group go to: www.ctc.org.uk/local-groups
