Dr Bike volunteer opportunities at RideLondon

Dr Bike volunteers mending bicycles
Do you know how to change an inner tube or bike tyre, tighten a brake cable, oil a chain or adjust a seat? If so, you have the skills to help support thousands of cyclists by volunteering to be a Dr Bike support mechanic at this year’s Prudential RideLondon on the 9 August.

Dr Bike is a great opportunity for volunteers and bike owners to engage, learn more about their bikes and be given visual demonstrations of maintenance techniques and how to fix minor problems.

At last year’s Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle Festival, CTC organised three Dr Bike service stations at St Pauls, Green Park and Tower Hill, and managed to help over 2,000 people with their bikes. This was only achieved with the help of almost 100 hundred volunteers.
