Cuerden & The Wheel

Setting out from Cuerden Valley country park on the outskirts of Chorley the ride will make its way via cycle paths to Avenham Park in Preston. From here its a lap of the iconic Preston Guild wheel, 21 miles of almost traffic free cycling around the the periphery of the City, before making our way back to Cuerden Park. Mixed surface route using primarily cycle path along with the odd section of quiet road, beautiful scenic route, largely flat but with the odd climb or two thrown in to keep it interesting.

Tatton Park

Starting out from the Saracens Head in Warburton this is a 28 mile tour of the Cheshire countryside. Plan to take in Dunham, Rostherne, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Arley & Lymm (inc a lap of the famous dam) before making our way back to the Saracens for lunch. Cafe stop in Knutsford at approx half way point. Nearly all quiet roads apart from the section around the Dam and possibly a short stretch of canal towpath.
