The Bike Doctor is in Winchester at the YMCA Cafe the Home of the Winchester Cycle Hub, every month to help you get your bike ready for a new year of cycling. If your bike has been in the garage or shed and is feeling neglected why not visit the Bike Doctor to get free check-ups and basic repairs. Our experienced bike mechanics can check everything on your bike from wheels to gears and brakes to brake lights. Any minor adjustments or basic repairs can be made there and then and if they can't fix it immediately they will let you know exactly what needs fixing.
Come and join us for a family led ride along the new Andover lakes cycle route. There will be time to stop along to the route to enjoy a drink and snack before returning to the starting point. Children will be rewarded with a certificate on the completion of the ride.
Marcus Whitney will be leading a moderate to fast paced ride from West End to East Meon, Coffee at The Sustainability Centre and return back for a beer at the Butchers Hook, Bitterne Triangle, Southampton.
With winter approaching, it’s time to think of the Watership Down on Sunday 11th January 2015. It is a challenging ride of 108 kilometres organised by Winchester CTC under Audax UK regulations. The start and finish are at Jubilee Hall at Kings Worthy just outside Winchester. A full written route sheet (or gpx) is available and The Hatchet at Lower Chute will again provide coffee and biscuits. There are no entries on the day and the limit is 140 riders.
