March and April courses and events

Here is the schedule for courses starting soon in Leicester.

Courses at Rally Park

Thursdays 9:30

Learn to ride or gain confidence on the road (16+)

 

Thursdays 9:30

Learn basic roadside maintenance (women only).

If more men are interested in this course, we can make recommendations to courses or look at starting a new one – let us know.

 

Last Friday of the month 3:30

Under 16’s mountain bike skills (must have permission slip signed)

 

Last Saturday of the month 11:00

Mountain biking skills (16+)

Suitable for beginners to experienced

 

Last Sunday of the month 11:00

Women-only mountain biking skills (16+)

 

Last Sunday of the month 2:00

  Family mountain biking skills (children must have a participating adult). In addition, if your bike has a problem we are happy to look it over  at the free

Basic Doctor Bike session Last Saturday of the month at 1pm. We will supply small parts and will fix what we can in the time available.

All courses are on Rally Park.  Meet behind Woodgate Adventure Playground, opposite the play park.

Courses in Beaumont Leys and Stocking Farm

Thursdays 10:00 from 3 April

Learn to ride or gain confidence

Home Farm Neighbourhood Centre

Creche available on request.

 

Fridays 10:00 from 2 May

Learn to ride or gain confidence

Stocking Farm Health Living Centre

Creche available on request.

 

Courses in Belgrave (Cossington St Sports Centre)

Wednesdays 10:30 from 23 April

Learn to ride or gain confidence

 

Saturdays 10:30 from  26 April

Learn to ride or gain confidence

 

Please contact leicester-cycle-champions@ctc.org.uk or 0116 252 6536 to book a place.  If you turn up on the day we may not have enough equipment or instructors to include you.
