Lorry safety crack down for London welcomed by CTC
A package of measures announced today by Transport Minister Stephen Hammond and London Mayor Boris Johnson to help make cycling conditions safer in the capital is good news, says CTC.

100 MPs reach a consensus on cycling
Around 100 MPs from all political parties attended a packed backbench business debate on cycling for 4 hours on Monday evening, with dozens of MPs taking part.

Wheelchair Bikes come to Northern Ireland
CTC’s Chief Executive Gordon Seabright has just returned from a visit to Northern Ireland this week where he welcomed the introduction of the first wheelchair bike combos to Londonderry.

A moveable feast for businesses in Brentford
Brentford Bikes, a project partly-funded by CTC, is looking to connect the people and places across of Brentford through a moveable feast of food, art and culture in order to promote the use of cargo bikes for business deliveries.

CTC welcomes Government progress on cycling but far more is still needed
CTC has welcomed the progress outlined in the Government's response to the parliamentary "Get Britain Cycling" inquiry, but believes far more is still needed if we are to even start catching up with the levels of cycle use common among our continental neighbours.

Cossington Street Adult Cycling Sessions updates
The adult cycling sessions at Cossington Street Sports Centre continue to be very popular. We have taken delivery of a shipping container at Cossington, which should help with storage and making the sessions flow easily.

CTC's New Forest Cycling Week 2013 - another great success
This year, there were 220 attendees at the CTC’s New Forest Rally, now in its 39th year. As usual there was a wide mix of people, including families with children, couples on their own and individuals, some of whom cycle camped.

Ladies' Day at Dalby
Over 500 women of all generations came along to the beautiful Dalby Forest at the weekend to try out mountain biking and road cycling, as CTC and Dalby Bike Barn staged their first Ladies' Day.

Over £1000 raised as 300 riders cycle for 'Justice for John'
Popular CTC Councillor John Radford was airlifted to hospital following a collision whilst he was out cycling in Holmfirth on the afternoon of the 31st of July. John's family and friends organised a ride earlier this week to thank the air ambulance crew that flew John to Leeds Royal Infirmary.
