Everton footballer Darron Gibson was sentenced this week for drink-driving and hitting a group of cyclists then fleeing the scene. CTC argues he should have been charged with dangerous driving.

England's travel habits: is cycling making a small comeback?

From a cycling perspective, the latest figures on England’s travel habits suggest a small revival in cycle trips may be underway, even though overall travel is declining. The average person made more cycle trips in 2014 than in 2013, as well as cycling more miles.

The police have released footage of a man who aggressively pushed a female cyclist off her bike into the road in Tower Hamlets, London. The attack was captured on the woman’s helmet cam and has since gone viral.
