10% off the Samba Velo jersey
We know you'd rather be out on your bike than watching the World Cup on TV but you can still show your interest in the event with a Brazil-inspired cycling jersey from Hackney GT. And not only that - with each order before Sunday 13 July ( the day of the final), you'll even get a free samba music mix CD to really put you in the mood for a party!
Cycle fashion label Hackney GT has quickly gained a reputation for their distinctive cycle clothing and the Samba Velo is the latest in a line of original creations. Inspired by the label owner’s love of Brazilian music and culture, the Samba features the nation’s colours and emblems in a technical cycling jersey making it perfect for those that want to get into the spirit of this summer’s festivities.
The jersey is not just a fashion item; it’s made from polyester performance fabric in an Italian race cut and is available in both male and female designs. There’s a full length hidden zip and three rear pockets and a rubber gripper rib to keep it in place. To help get you in the Brazilian spirit there’s also a free Samba music mix CD with all Samba Velo jersey orders from now until 13 July 2014.
Hackney GT owner Russ Jones takes up the story behind the jersey, “I’ve been a cyclist and a DJ for most of my adult life with Brazilian music being a big influence in my mixing style so I thought I’d combine the two in my latest jersey. Initial reaction has been great, as customers want a technical cycling jersey that’s bright and different without it being a Brazilian national shirt. Making it available in both male and female cuts also fits in with our policy of making all our designs for everyone with children’s versions coming soon.”
