Cycling around the flat part of the track

Charge

£3 per disabled participant per session, which covers free admission of one carer/parent/support (extra carers/supporters pay £1 each).

Limitations on use

None, although participants must have registered with WfW (no charge for registration). We aim to share out time on popular cycles, and to prevent non-disabled siblings from using machines that disabled participants want to use.

  • Tandems (both 2-wheel & trikes)

  • Tag-alongs
  • Race-runners

(approx 40 machines available for each session)

Booking arrangements / times / charges etc

No booking required. Drop-in sessions run every Monday 10am and 1.30pm.

 

Other sessions for specific user groups run occasionally at other times. There is no time limit so some participants stay for the whole session time

Free car parking available at the venue.  For advice on getting to the venue from a nearby station or bus stop, or to check if the session is running in inclement weather, please contact the team from 15 minutes before the start time.

We have trained cycling instructors available to advise/assess rider's suitability for various machines
