About this project

We collect unwanted bicycles and ship them to our partner organisations (charities & NGOs) in Africa to provide people in rural areas with an affordable and sustainable means of transport. To date (September 2014) we have shipped more than 36,000 bikes to 15 different African countries. As well as bicycles we also ship spare parts, bike accessories and tools to enable the bikes to be repaired as and when necessary.
