Scottish Premiere of ARRIVAL, the latest big budget MTB film
Angus Mountain Bike Trails Association (AMBTA) has announced that they have secured the rights to screen ARRIVAL, the new big budget MTB film from Anthill and SecondBase films, as part of the world wide premiere tour.
The film showcases the talents of emerging extreme mountain bike riders, film makers and photographers and is sure to be a big hit with adventure and extreme sports enthusiasts.
The double screening will also showcase the new film NOT BAD which was made in New Zealand and follows the exploits of some of Trek Mountain Bike Team’s extreme riders.
The Scottish Premiere of Arrival will take place in Perth at the Loft Nightclub on Saturday 26 October 2013 from 19.30 and will be shown as part of the festivities for the two-day FairCityEnduro Mountain Bike Race, which will be based at The South Inch in Perth the same weekend. Following on from the films, guests will be invited to stay on and dance the night away in The Official Fair City Enduro After Party which is included in the ticket price.
Proceeds from the night will be going to AMBTA (Registered Charity SCO38565) to support the work it does for the advancement of dedicated, sustainable mountain bike trails and facilities in the region.
Scott Francis from AMBTA said: “We’re delighted to have secured the screening rights to the film and we just hope the public and riders will come along and support the work we do. We are currently trying to raise funds to build a bike park in the Angus area and every last drop of money we raise will go to help build this much needed facility for riders in Angus. The FairCityEnduro is going to be a fantastic event for the region, with something for everyone and we are very pleased to be partnering with the race organisers to make this screening happen.”
