Join us for a leisurely paced cycle ride to the village of Moreton that will soon witness the Tour de France passing through its rural streets. As our modest tribute to the tour's visit to Essex, we will ride to Moreton for a glass of French wine (probably in the pub garden) via coffee at the Kelvedon Hatch Nuclear Bunker. The ride will be led by very experienced cyclists who know the country lanes and will ensure nobody is left behind. Any one with a reasonable level of fitness and a road worthy bike should be able to complete this informal one-off event. There are no costs other than the cost of food or drink at Kelvedon and Moreton.
Start details:
Outside Roomes (Home & Fashion) Store, Station Rd, Upminster, Essex RM14 2SX Roomes is just 50m from Upminster Tube / Rail. There are Excellent Tube and Rail Links to Upminster from East London and Essex. Check trains before travel for engineering work.
