A 7 mile led ride on quiet country roads suitable for all abilities and families, travelling at a leisurely pace. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The group will be accompanied by two experienced ride leaders so no-one will be left behind. The ride should take around one and a half hours and includes a refreshment stop. All participants must have a bike in good working order with two working brakes.

4:30pm - meet Ride Leaders in Chesham Tube Station car park for pre-ride bike checks.

4:50pm approx - The ride will start  at Chesham Station and ride out along the Vale before returning to the Town Centre. There is a steep hill as we head up Chartridge Lane. The route turns down Westdean Lane and then a gentle down hill ride back to town.

A 9.5 mile led ride on the Canal Tow Path and quiet country roads suitable for all abilities and families, travelling at a leisurely pace. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

N.B. This route is NOT suitable for racing bikes.

The group will be accompanied by two experienced ride leaders so no-one will be left behind. The ride should take around one and a half hours and includes a refreshment stop. All participants must have a bike in good working order with two working brakes.

4:30pm - meet Ride Leaders outside Berkhamsted Railway Station, for pre-ride bike checks.

4.50pm approx - The ride will start at the Station and  go along Bridgewater Road to Billet Lane where it turns onto the Canal Tow Path.It then follows the Tow Path to the Fishery's bridge in Boxmoor. Leaving the canal the route follows quiet country roads back to the finish at Berkhamsted Station.

Entry Fee £3.00 each or per team. You will need to bring an OS 1:50,000 Landranger Map 202 “Torbay, South Dartmoor area” on which to mark control locations.

Plan a ride to visit as many controls as possible across the South Hams and Dartmoor.

Either enter as an individual or as a team.
