CTC Campaigns And Policy Homepage

CTC has a dedicated team of campaigners supported by the Right to Ride network, which is the largest team of dedicated voluntary cycle campaigners in the UK.

We lobby locally, regionally and nationally for better rights and conditions for cyclists.  The measures that we think will encourage more people to cycle - and why we think more people should be encouraged to do so - are set out in our 'New Vision for Cycling'.

Campaign News

CTC has launched a campaign calling on the Government to double the levels of cycling and acknowledge the ‘safety in numbers’ effect of increased cycling. New research (5 mb download) from CTC suggests that the risk of injury while cycling is lower in places with high levels of cycling.

CTC's 'New Vision for Cycling' calls for a doubling of cycling and halving of the risks of cycling over the next ten years. Support our Safety in Numbers campaign to achieve this. Also join in our other campaigns, such as Fill That Hole and our call for a Carbon Reduction Fund for sustainable transport.
What We Do...

What We Do...

CTC campaigns at a national and local level to improve conditions for all cyclists. We work with other transport and environmental charities on wider transport objectives and provide support to the Cyclists' Defence Fund.
