A cycling app from CTC and the University of Surrey

CTC is partnering with the University of Surrey to develop a cycling app for smartphones and tablets and we would like to hear your ideas. We will collate all responses in the coming weeks and then create a poll of the most popular on our website.

Our favourite staff picks are:

  • A Land's End to John o'Groats trip guide.
  • An Android (mobile operating system) version of the Fill that Hole app.
  • A Cyclists Welcome app showing cycle friendly accommodation & bike shops over discount to CTC members.
  • An app to share your cycling photos with CTC.
  • A 'what is my gradient?' app allowing you to see the gradient you are currently riding, plot it on a map & go head off to cycle killer gradients plotted by your fellow cyclists.
  • An app to find your nearest CTC cycling buddy.
