CTC Trainer Bob Campbell drops in during a night ride
Bob Campbell has ridden and paddled all over the world to an incredibly high level, and helped develop unique brands and products in paddlesports and mountain bike sectors. He now uses those attributes to enable great skill acquisition for those attending CTC courses.

  • Has been world kayak freestyle champion;
  • Riding and paddling experience all over the world;
  • Runs Campbell Coaching;
  • Forestry Commission Wales Ranger covering South Wales.

Bob has worked in the outdoor industry for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience assisting people to grow their skills, knowledge and confidence in a wide spectrum of areas. He has worked as a sea kayak guide in Maine, USA and managed outdoors centres in Norway.

He has spent a great deal of time (and continues to when the chance arises) paddling and riding at ultimate locations around the globe. He also spent 3 years as part of the management team at Coed Llandegla trail centre. 

Bob specialises in MTB skills provision and trail maintenance and repair, as well as being a First Aid Trainer. He currently runs his own company Campbell Coaching with Ally his wife in North Wales and is also the FC MTB Ranger for South Wales.

Bob says: "Working with the other Leader Trainers in the CTC is a unique experience. The whole team has a huge wealth of ability which allows us all to share ideas and concepts to do what we do even better and constantly improve our courses and industry best practice."
