The course is a first step into leading group rides, but the course also develops your team working, independence and communication skills. You will be able to help manage group rides, deal with bicycle maintenance on the hoof and emergencies.

The course is often as used as part of extra curricular development, where the focus is on gaining vocational qualifications.
