Maintenance Course Suite
Key content
Comprising Road and Trailside Maintenance, Advanced Maintenance and Fleet Maintenance courses, these enable you to achieve a substantial level of competence across all levels and applications of bike maintenance for your own and fleets of bikes and equipment.
Each of these courses is normally a whole days duration, but due to reducing preparation and cleaning up times and re-orienting the course content, we can squeeze it into a two day period.
Course Outcomes
This suite of courses is ideal for groups of people working or volunteering at activity providers, outdoor centres, bike hire locations, bike clubs, recycling organisations and community projects.
What next
You may use this course as part of overall training in bike maintenance, where you are also maintaining bikes as part of your role.

Essential
This suite has the same combined entry requirements as the Road and Trailside and Fleet Maintenance courses:
- You should have previously picked up a spanner and tried to work out what might be wrong and what you want to do to fix it?
- You will need to be willing to 'get your hands dirty'
- You will also be working or volunteering at a location where several bikes and associated equipment are used, potentially by a variety of users over time.
