Merida Brass Monkeys Series - THE WINTER WARMER

The Winter enduro season is upon us and Round 1 of this year’s Merida Brass Monkeys Series - THE WINTER WARMER is on Sunday 25 November at Caesar’s Camp, Aldershot, Hants. The nearest postcode is GU11 1PZ, but when you get close to the venue will be signed.

With Gorrick and the Army involved, supported by Merida. You can opt for 4 hours or 2 hours riding in age related categories over 7-8 mile laps.

There’s a 1 hour event as well if you want to see if enduro riding is for you. It's a Series so all rounds will count and there will be a Podium presentation of trophies on the day at 1500 as well as the Series presentations at the last round.

Pre-entry is now open and will close very soon. Remember, there is no entry  on the day.

Go MTB awards

Go MTB awards
Mountain bike training designed for children and young people, but equally applicable to more mature riders.

When you start your first award (whichever level that might be), you get a handbook to show you how much you have already done, and what the next stages are. This helps record your experiences as well. Each time you complete a full element, or a complete award level, you receive a certificate to go with the satisfaction of success!

Go MTB has five levels, each split into four parts:

Boardman HT Pro Cycle Magazine Review

Boardman HT Pro
Model:
Boardman HT Pro

At any given price, a 26-inch wheel hardtail should have a better specification than a full suspension bike or a hardtail 29er. When that price is ‘under £1,000’, where one poor component choice can tip the balance on a bike’s performance, there’s a strong case for choosing an uncompromised, 26er hardtail – like this Boardman HT Pro.

HOTS is a fantastic opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful parts of the country on two wheels and raised over £4000 last year for local charities including Bristol Children’s Hospital.  There will be a 75k and a 50k route and also Roller Racing, one of the highlights of last year's event.
