Mini Enduro Round 1: Haldon Forest Park

The mini-downhill format, masterminded by Naked Racing’s Chris Roberts, aims to make downhill racing more accessible to everyone who enjoys the sport. Sunday saw the first ever mini-enduro, Chris’ attempt to do the same for the Enduro format of bike racing.

The mini-downhill format, masterminded by Naked Racing’s Chris Roberts, aims to make downhill racing more accessible to everyone who enjoys the sport. Sunday saw the first ever mini-enduro, Chris’ attempt to do the same for the Enduro format of bike racing. The race was held in Devon’s Haldon Forest Park, and despite the adverse weather conditions was attended by nearly 150 keen riders, from former world champion Gee Atherton down to people racing for the first time ever!

Gorrick 12:12 Torq in your Sleep

Gorrick’s headline event of the year that is recommended as a great experience for riders of all ages and abilities. 

The event takes place over 12 hours from noon to midnight. at Minley Manor in Hampshire. There will be riding for Solos, Pairs or Teams (team members don’t have to be confirmed until the day).

You can expect a superb 8 mile figure of 8 course featuring the Bridge to Nowhere, a huge marquee and arena with loads of trade stands and a DJ. There is beer and chocolate as you finish and chill before the spot prizes draw and then the trophy/prize presentations.

Free trackside camping is available from Saturday until Monday morning, so you can make a weekend of it. 

There’ll be full facilities, including showers, and catering.

Entry is online only and will close when the event is full.  No entry on the day.

Heaven of the South - Cotswold MTB Enduro

The second Heaven of the South Mountain Bike Endurance event takes place on 19-20 May in Kingswood, near Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire.

HOTS is a fantastic opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful parts of the country on two wheels and raised over £4000 last year for local charities including Bristol Children’s Hospital.  There will be a 75k and a 50k route and also Roller Racing, one of the highlights of last year's event.
