Intermediate bike maintenance in Colchester

Last November’s bike maintenance sessions built participants’ confidence and they left feeling ‘keen to have a go’ at mending their own bikes, so we’re putting more on this February.

Cytech mechanic Ben Paton will once again be delivering the sessions and this time we are offering beginner and intermediate levels.

The beginner session is perfect for those who want basic knowledge and to build confidence. It will cover basic maintenance tips, fixing a puncture and an introduction to brakes.

The next level up is intermediate, covering more on brakes, gear adjustments and cable replacements.

The sessions aim to be interactive with practical hands on experience.

The sessions will run on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Greenstead Community Centre on Hawthorn Avenue in Colchester on these dates:

6 February (Beginners)
13 February (Beginners)
20 February (Beginners)
27 February (Intermediate)

The costs are £10 for beginners and £15 for intermediate. People on limited incomes should get in touch, as we don't want anyone to miss out.
