It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Bob Kynaston on 18 January 2013 after a short illness. Bob had been a CTC member for over 50 years, and the driving force behind the Tourist Competition for nearly 20 of those years.

He was also a stalwart of West London CTC for a long time. He will be greatly missed by his wide circle of friends and cycling colleagues, and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Funeral details to be announced. No flowers but donations to MacMillan Cancer Relief or Cancer UK much appreciated.

A feature on Bob and his work coordinating the Tourist Competition for  CTC was printed in the Feb/March edition of Cycle magazine last year.
