People Empowering People Bike Club
It was a cold evening session at Leyton Square in Southwark, for People Empowering People Bike Club, but no one seemed to mind. The maintenance session was inundated with keen young people who wanted to fix their bikes or earn a bike for themselves by working on one donated by the local police.

Breezing along with Trax
Trax is a Bike Club operating in a very disadvantaged area of London, near Boadwater Farm. Trax offer a wide range of cycling activities for everyone to enjoy. CTC's Frances Chaloner went to a Trax Breeze Ride for women on a bright autumnal morning.

Queens Park Forum Bike Club Launch in the Sunshine
Queens Park Forum Bike Club is community based and offers weekly bike maintenance lessons, an earn a bike scheme and a drop in Dr Bike service for local people. Cycling Development Officer for London Frances Chaloner went along to the launch in Westminster.

A great day of MTB bike racing on Lordship Loop, grass racing and the new BMX Club session took place recently at the home of the Trax Bike Club in London.

Deans Community High School pupils meet Nigel Mansell
Pupils at Deans Community High School met the former Formula 1 star on 14 June but this time he was on two wheels instead of four. Nigel cycled through Livingston as part of a 1300 mile charity cycle ride from John O'Groats to Paris over 12 days, raising funds for Youth Charity UK Youth.

Larbert High School S1 Cycle Roadshow
Three hundred S1 pupils at Larbert High School tried out different cycling activities over three days to encourage more pupils to take up cycling and get involved in cycling activities. They also organised their first ever girls only mountain bike trip.

Team UK Youth meet Middleden Mountain Bike Club
Kirkcaldy based Mountain Bike Club met professional cycling team 'Team UK Youth' before they competed in the first round of the Halfords Tour Series. This was the first time the series has taken place in Scotland.
