Parent and Child Cycle Training in Reading

CTC and Reading Borough Council offer Parent and Child Cycle Training sessions to improve the cycling ability of both parents and children.

Sessions begin at Palmer Park and continue throughout the roads in Wokingham, so the experience gives parents and children practical experience on both quiet and busy roads.

"It’s working as a team to make sure these two are safe", one mother said about her husband and two children. "We’re big fans of bikes".

After their first session, the children involved said that they felt more confident about cycling on the roads.

These Parent and Child Cycle Training sessions are offered free of charge.

Children must be over 8 years of age to participate and will be required to pass Level 1 Bikeability. The courses take place on Mondays and Thursdays between 16:30-17:30 during term time at Palmer Park Sports Stadium.

For more information on these sessions, see our  Facebook page, or Twitter@RDG_Get_Cycling.

To take part in the Parent and Child Cycle Training sessions, please contact Javed Saddique / 07789 683650.
