Steve Bailey

I joined CTC in 2008 following a career in law enforcement. I am the lead manager for CTC’s off-road and health engagement programmes. I’m based in Leicestershire and manage a team of regional cycling development officers in the North East of England.
When I started at CTC, I managed the BIG Lottery-funded  ‘Community Cycle Champions programme’,  which was part of the £20 million funded Travel Actively Consortium promoting behavioural and modal change in defined communities. I am also involved in two European programmes sponsored by the European Cyclists’ Federation called ‘Life cycle’ and ‘Cycle Logistics’.

I am a lifelong cyclist, cycle instructor and qualified trail leader.
