Winner of the Arthur Moss Award and Volunteer of the Year for Wales – Lowri Evans

‘Cheerful, friendly and efficient’ - that is how Lowri Evans is described by those that nominated her. Her character is a great advantage in the management of all the events that she organises, and in the other duties that she has undertaken.

She is closely involved with the Wrexham Reivers Riding group, is the Secretary of the Chester and North Wales Member Group and acts as the Liaison Officer with CTC Cymru.

As a keen member of the Chester and North Wales team in the CTC Touring Competition, she has won the Ladies' Prize for several years in succession, and has enabled them, yet again, to win the Team Prize for 2012.

In addition to her other duties, Lowri played a leading part in the organisation of the very successful Welsh Festival of Cycling, including the preparation of more than a dozen routes of differing severity. She also finds time to organise fun events too and is an expert at planning treasure hunt routes!
