Harry Wilcock - CTC West Yorkshire - Certificate of Merit

In 1948 he was elected Runs Secretary; then in 1960 was elected as Bradford CTC representative to CTC West Yorkshire District Association Committee.  From 1979 to 1981 Harry was President of CTC West Yorkshire District Association.

Harry has given frequent talks, lectures and slide shows about his cycling and the countries he has visited to CTC groups in the West Yorkshire area.

Harry has been a Vice President of CTC West Yorkshire since 1981.

In 1984 Harry started organising the annual CTC West Yorkshire District Association Spring Ride-out Lunch catering for up to 100 cyclists, and is still involved as co-organiser in this enjoyable event.

Since joining CTC Harry has always been an active CTC member and enjoyed touring up to around 10 years ago.  He continues to attend Committee meetings and his contributions, experience and knowledge are highly valued.
