Tim Jackson
Tim has been a CTC member since 1972. He was very active in his local group Teesside, and led the team which ran the Birthday Rides in 1994. Since moving to Richmond he is less involved locally, but more involved as a National Councillor since 2004. He is the chair of the Editorial Committee and the National Events Steering Group, and a member of the Management Committee.
Tim believes passionately in the grassroots of the club and its local groups.
Most recently Tim was the coordinator of the 2011 Birthday Rides in Suffolk, where he worked closely with the local group to produce a very successful rides.
On a personal level Tim is unashamedly an old fashioned cycle tourist, who has recently completed his 200th British Cycle Quest Clue, “ There is no better way to discover Britain by bike!”
