I am a consultant trauma orthopaedic surgeon; I lead complex teams. I have great experience of trauma surgery after cycling crashes.
I have lost 170lbs in weight and have experience in obesity matters.
I campaign actively for CTC in Scotland and have rebuilt the CTC Scotland Committee. I have been a Council member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for 10 years and have experience in organisational governance. I am a good leader and innovator.
I cycled 3,400 miles across USA in 2013 and have inspired many to get active and get cycling.
I have good skills in media and information technology.
I would hope to invigorate CTC Council. Follow me on Twitter @cyclingsurgeon and Like my Facebook at facebook.com/cyclingsurgeon
