If you provide any of the following cycling activities for others (whether you are paid or voluntarily) you should consider insurance to cover you in the eventuality that something should go wrong:
- instruction/training to any child or adult, in groups or individuals on road
- instruction/training to any child or adult, in groups or individuals off road
- lead rides for your local club
- hire out bikes as part of your business
- or partake in any other cycling activity
Although the risk is low and cycling is a very safe activity, the increase in the ‘compensation culture’ has caused many organisations and individuals to seek insurance for their activites.
