CTC’s Policy Handbook sets out CTC policies relevant to cycling as a mode of transport and as a leisure activity. The intention has been to keep the number of policies to a minimum but to provide detailed interpretation of the policies in relation to particular topics. Brief background material is also included, along with references to more detailed sources.

This compilation of policy represents a ‘snapshot’ at the time of publication (2004) and details those areas upon which CTC has taken a position up to that date. It is not necessarily comprehensive and the views may be subject to change.
