In 2007 the Policies applicable to CTC Groups were updated, and are now presented in the new Policy Handbook for CTC Groups and Organising Committees.
The main change is the discontinuation of the terms DA and Section so that the CTC groups can be better understood by the public. The new term CTC Member Group applies to all groups that comply with the Policy Handbook. Smaller sections have the option to become informal activities of their Member Group, however groups are encouraged to become Member Groups where possible.
New Member Groups may form independently of other groups and report to National Office directly. This new policy is to facilitate the start up of new and diverse groups, especially with the new Cycling Champions projects underway from 2008.
The resources for CTC groups form the 'toolkit'. Within the toolkit is the following:
1.Policy Handbook for CTC Groups and Organising Committees
